Summer Camp

Summer camp at Brooklyn Doodles combines our preschool art and play curriculum with fun camp themes and daily scheduled activities. Campers will make new friends, learn new skills, and engage in a wide range of activities that cater to their unique interests. Our summer camp program is designed to provide your children with an exciting and creative experience throughout the summer!

Our summer camp program is designed for ages 2 to 5 years old. The camp will run in two sessions starting July 1st to August 30th. Families will have the option to pick and choose individual weeks to attend.

Brooklyn Doodles Summer Camp Policies
Upon signing up for BKD Summer Camp, you agree to the following policies:

Cancellation Policy:
There are no exceptions to our summer camp cancellation policy.
. If you cancel between March 1st 2024 and June 1st 2024, you will receive a refund less the registration fee and camp deposit.
. After June 1st there are no refunds unless we can fill your child's spot.
. If we fill the spot before the start of camp, we will provide a 75% refund minus the camp deposit and registration fee.

Make-ups:
There are no make ups or refunds for missed camp days for any reason.

Snacks and Lunch:
Parents will need to provide children with a nut free packed lunch, snack, and water bottle daily. Children doing extended days should pack a second snack. During lunch, staff will do their best to make sure children eat/hydrate. However, we are not able to sit with children individually to help them eat their lunch.

Sun Protection:
Please provide your child with moderate sun protection (sunscreen, hat, etc) as we spend considerable time outside, weather permitting each day. Please apply sunscreen at home before coming to camp.

Sibling Discount:
You can receive a 10% discount if siblings attend during the same week of summer camp for 2 or more weeks. Campers must attend full day Monday to Friday.
Health examination:
All campers must submit an updated health examination form prior to attending camp.

Sick Policy:
. If during camp hours a camper is determined by the camp to be sick, with a fever over 100 degrees, stomach issues, respiratory infection or any other symptoms, Brooklyn Doodles will notify parents to pick up the camper immediately.
. If your camper becomes ill during camp season with the flu, COVID, pink eye, Coxsackievirus or any other communicable illness, please contact the camp immediately.

Positive COVID Cases:
. Please refer to our COVID policy in our Program Handbook for more information.
. If there is a positive COVID case at the camp, we will notify families of the camp group.
. Exposed campers may continue to attend camp. Please monitor for any symptoms and stay home from camp if symptoms develop. Please contact the camp immediately if your child's status changes.
. If a member of the camper/staff's household tests positive for COVID, the camper/staff member must test for COVID prior to attending camp on the day of the positive test and day 3 of the exposure. Please note that these policies are subject to change due to directives from city, state and federal health agencies.
